While jewelry may not be the primary reason one attends a fashion show, you simply cannot deny the power it has to make an outfit. With that in mind, knowing the best fall 2023 jewelry trends is imperative to ensuring all your cold-weather ’fits have the right finishing touch.
Among all the fall 2023 fashion trends we’ve seen thus far, jewelry has been on the quieter side, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t there. Ahead, we pulled together the biggest jewelry trends to appear on the fall/winter 2023 runways with some shoppable options for you to start wearing now. (Be sure to check back as we add more while we get through the rest of fashion month!) You’re never fully dressed without a smile? Sure, okay. But in my humble opinion, you’re never fully dressed without accessories—and more specifically, jewelry.
All the Glitz
Models at Brandon Maxwell brought on the glitz and glamour with chunky, crystal-embellished wrist cuffs—which almost looked like sparkling scrunchies accompanying oversized clutches, a favorite fall 2023 bag trend of ours—and glimmering silver earrings to match. Prabal Gurung also showcased some sparkling, bold earrings, so we’re betting on this being a trend to liven up any outfit this fall and winter.
Charming Chunks
We saw the return of arm cuffs among the best spring 2023 jewelry trends, and they made their way down the runway once again at LaQuan Smith, which means the trend will be around for yet another season. That said, I also couldn’t help but notice the bold hoop earrings and the swinging pendants, either. My takeaway? Fall 2023 is all about being bold.
Big and Bold Necklaces
Statement necklaces? They’re officially back. Michael Kors presented a new take on collar necklaces, ones that featured flat, oversized geode and disc pendants simply hung on a circular wire—which, from far away, brought Calder mobiles to mind. A little art-inspired with a lot of sartorial impact—that’s a trend I can get behind.
