It’s been a busy year for Hailey Bieber, to say the very least. Between launching her critically-acclaimed (and frequently sold-out) skincare line Rhode and becoming a Tiffany & C0. ambassador, the multi-hyphenate star remains one of the best-dressed celebs in the biz. Fitting, then, that she’s taking her know-how on the style front to basics brand Wardrobe.NYC, co-founded by stylist Christine Centenera and designer Josh Goot. For the uninitiated, Wardrobe.NYC configures its drops around—you guessed it—wardrobes, allowing you to shop capsules that will cover you from day to night and back again. TL;DR: Hailey Bieber x Wardrobe.NYC provides the essentials you need to rock the streets à la Mrs. Bieber.
No stranger to an oversized coat, Bieber’s HB Blazer and HB Coat are specifically designed to fit big, and be worn over multiple layers for the chilly months ahead. Sporty leggings and track pants provide base layers to build the coziest and easiest outfits with, and classic cotton pieces like the HB Ribbed Tank complete any look. Unsurprisingly, Centenera speaks highly of Bieber’s creative vision: “I’ve always admired her maturity, kindness, optimism, and fresh outlook on fashion and life,” she says. The collection marks five years of Wardrobe.NYC, and, Centenera says, Bieber is the perfect person to help celebrate a brand built around chicness. In honor of the collaboration, ELLE asked Bieber a few questions about her personal style—and the capsule, of course.
What’s your go-to outfit recipe when you’re on the move?
My go-to is usually a great pair of slouchy pants, a well-fitted tee or tank, a great blazer or leather jacket, and all-black sunnies.
If you could only wear one piece from the collection for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
So hard to choose, but I would wear the blazer forever. I feel like it’s a really timeless and versatile piece that goes with everything!
Who do you think has the chicest wardrobe of all time?
There are so many people I look up to style-wise, but Rosie Huntington-Whiteley forever does it right.
Hailey Bieber x Wardrobe.NYC is offered in four-piece ($1,750) and eight-piece ($3,750) wardrobes for women, exclusively in black and off-white.
